I am a Realtor®, Designer, Sales Representative of Manufacturers and Importers of Construction & Design Products, Entrepreneur, and Computer Programmer who loves studying and working hard to deliver excellence. My strongest skills throughout my career and personal life have always been to envision, solve, and lead. To mention a few accomplishments, I have been awarded the highest Mathematics award (Gold Medal, High School), recognized for Leadership (Presidency of the Student Council and Director of a Condominium Board), and Vision (one of the Top Three Catalyst Visionaries 2017 by the Toronto Region Board of Trade). The year 2005 was a defining moment, as I had the life-changing idea to start my own business, DWM, switching from the corporate field. It has been a never-stopping, amazing experience of continuous growth and great achievements. This marvelous journey has been possible through higher training, hard work, and alliances with outstanding team players such as Ian DeSouza (my husband of 32 years, an Accountant and Flooring & Lighting Manufacturer’s Sales Representative for approximately 25 years), Nathan DeSouza (my son, a highly experienced General Contractor and former Blue Jay draftee), Jessica DeSouza-Duckett (my daughter-in-law, an Honours graduate of Interior Design), and my daughter Christina Haines-DeSouza (an Honours graduate in Business and former Real Estate Officer of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation). As a team, we have a tremendous wealth of knowledge and capabilities for which we feel deeply blessed. Our greatest motivation is to accomplish tasks in the most honest and dedicated way possible, honoring ethics and trustworthiness in a world where deep values are often hard to find. Our business has grown and continues to grow day by day, and we truly look forward to moving forward without ever stopping, until the last day of our wonderful journeys, passing the torch to younger generations so they can thrive as well.
